These Taylor African Ebony slides are a bit different than your typical glass or metal slides. They are softer, with a natural damping factor and a less shrill high end. They also don t slip as easily, are very lightweight, and are warm and forgiving, so you don t need to be a slide pro to enjoy these! You may need a heavier right hand or more amp gain to get them to really sing the same as a metal brass glass slide, but it s a fair trade off!
