This awesome guitar is a SL2H-V with a roasted mahogany body as well as roasted neck. The roasting process removes excess moisture content from the wood, giving it some properties of a vintage instrument as well as making it a bit lighter in weight as well as making it more resilient in weather changes. All in all – a great additional feature to an already superior instrument. First and foremost, the Natural Soloist has a mahogany body and neck with a gunstock oil finish applied right to the wood. This allows the instrument to breath more, giving lots of resonance to chords and riffs, and well as a fast playing and woody feel to the neck. The SL2H-V Natural Series has moved the knobs and toggle switch 1 closer to the bridge, giving you way more space for your picking hand to move around without bumping into any controls. It also has a non-recessed Floyd Rose tremolo, giving the guitar both a vintage look as well as giving the body more mass for sustain without having a chunk of wood taken out of the body. The guitar is loaded with an EVH low-friction volume pot, black control knobs and end pins, and a smaller-sized headstock with a vintage Jackson logo that is identical to the headstock found on the original Rhoads Concorde.
